Applications are invited for appointment as Post‑Doctoral Fellow in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: ), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.ResponsibilitiesWork semi‑independently under the supervision of Professor Stephanie Ma on research projects relating to cancer cell plasticity with a focus on cancer stemness using hepatocellular carcinoma as a model system.Conduct experimental work in areas such as cell/organoid culture, cellular/molecular biology, flow cytometry, animal studies, and cancer‑related research.Analyse data and provide scientific insights that contribute to a theme‑based collaborative project.Communicate scientific results effectively through writing and presentations.QualificationsPh.D. degree in Cancer Biology, Cancer Immunology, Biomedical Sciences, or a related field.Exceptional experimental, writing, and communication abilities.Research experience in cancer bioinformatics, cancer biology, and/or cancer immunology.Experience with cell/organoid culture, cellular/molecular biology, flow cytometry, animal studies, and cancer‑related research work.Strong communication skills, self‑motivation, attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work independently as well as in a multidisciplinary team.BenefitsA highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.Annual leave and medical benefits.ContactFor further information, please contact Professor Stephanie Ma at.
