Target of at least 0.7mUSD of lead/opportunity generation. Managing at least 3 direct reports (HE CoE sitting in MAP)Job Description- ROLE- Principals, within their customer service line, will lead the execution teams across multiple projects and will lead client engagements, including Business Development Activities in alignment with Partners, Principal and Managing Partners.- Principals drive and execute business development activities, by strengthening the relationships with the existing client base, by participating to the proposal process and by generating new leads.- Principals also contribute to corporate branding activities such as the optimization of internal processes, collaborating with the customer service line Partners as needed.- KEY RESPONSABILITIES- Project Execution/ Billability (50%):- Leads and execute multiple consulting projects of varying complexity at the same time, supports in the development of project plans and leads project to successful completion, on-time, and on-budget.-- Has a clear understanding of the client’s needs, and, together with the Assigned Team, drives the execution efforts in line with clients’ requirements and needs.-- Understands and anticipates potential issues and/or challenges deriving from the initial ‘problem’ and is able to communicate this effectively to the project teams.-- Possess an in-depth understanding of the healthcare industry and of related consulting methodologies through the delivery of consulting engagement and participation in formal and informal training programs.-- Nurture and encourage teams to consider out-of-the-box solutions to address client issues.-- Provide oversight and direction to staff aligned with the organization's policies / procedures, vision, mission statement and values.-- Ensures the high quality and accuracy of deliverables.- Business Development/ Corporate Initiatives (up to 35%):- Actively collaborate to the development and fine-tuning of the relevant Service Line offering, integrated into communication activities and/or marketing plans to customers.-- Supports Partners in developing successful proposals and actively supports throughout the business development effort, from lead generation (passive role) to closing (active role).-- Nurtures existing client relationships, including thought leaderships initiatives and opens opportunities with new clients/ accounts-- Support firm development activities by contributing to recruiting, knowledge management, technology systems, and related functions. Attend and engage clients at specialized conferences-- Actively collaborate to the development and fine-tuning of the relevant Service Line offering, integrated into communication activities and/or marketing plans to customers.-- Proactively mentor, coach, and share expertise with others to grow the collective Alira Health knowledge and ability to deliver differential solutions to clients.- Thought Leadership (up to 15%):- Attend and engage clients at specialized conferences-- Actively collaborate to the development and fine-tuning of the relevant Service Line offering, integrated into communication activities and/or marketing plans to customers.-- Proactively mentor, coach, and share expertise with others to grow the collective Alira Health knowledge and ability to deliver differential solutions to clients.- DESIRED QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE- 8+ years of professional experience in life sciences’ management consulting, private equity, Life Sciences companies, or health technology assessment (HTA) agencies.- Graduate degree with an excellent track record in either Life Sciences related, Business, Economics, or Engineering programs; PhD, specialized Masters in Lifesciences, MBA or similar degrees will be considered a plus.- Experience in managing teams of 5-8 people- TECHNICAL COMPETENCES & SOFT SKILLS- Excellent interpersonal skills, time management and organization skills. Strong capability in evaluating priorities to meet deadlines while retaining consistently high-quality outcomes.- Ability to understand and clearly convey complex data to extract client relevant information for decision making.- Strong ability to multi-task and accommodate changing priorities with a positive and “can-do” attitude, while delivering high quality during tight timelines.- Strong analytical skills, strong knowledge of consulting methodologies, tools, and techniques and ability to problem-solve unstructured or ambiguous challenges.- Proven project management skills, including client interaction, ful
