We are looking for a Senior Process Engineer, reporting directly to the Head of a Process & Technology Department, to be part of a multidisciplinary Process Engineering team working on international projects.ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Process Engineer, you will contribute to all project phases (Feasibility, Conceptual Design, Basic Engineering, FEED, EPC, etc.).Technical LeadershipManage and coordinate process engineering activities, including calculation notes, simulations, PFDs, H&MBs, P&IDs, equipment/instrument specifications, design philosophies, control and safety logics, and technical reports.Supervise the preparation and issuance of all process deliverables.Provide expert support for complex design topics and technical solutions.Team Management & CoordinationLead and mentor a team of 3 to 5 junior process engineers.Review and validate engineering work, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance.Organize and conduct process design reviews and P&ID reviews.Participate in safety, environmental and operational reviews (HAZOP, SIL, HAZID, ENVID).Coordinate technical interfaces with all stakeholders: engineering disciplines, partners, suppliers, clients, project teams, subcontractors, licensors, etc.Operations & InnovationSupport pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.Contribute to lessons learned, development of design methodologies, tools, and procedures.Participate in internal R&D initiatives.All activities are carried out in accordance with safety standards, quality requirements, budgets, timelines, and with a constant focus on client satisfaction.QualificationsEducationMaster’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.ExperienceMinimum 6 years of experience in process engineering or process design.Background in the energy, chemicals, or petrochemicals sectors.Technical ExpertiseKnowledge of one or more of the following technologies:Gas treatment, LNG, ethylene, olefins, plastic recycling, refining, biofuels, e-fuels.Carbon management (CO₂ capture), green hydrogen, blue/green ammonia.Proficiency in process simulation tools:HYSYS, UniSim, PRO II, ProSim, Pipenet, Flarenet.Solid knowledge of process design:Modeling and simulations, PFDs, H&MBs, P&IDs, instrument and equipment sizing, process philosophies.Soft SkillsStrong communication and teamwork abilities in an international environment.Proven experience leading small engineering teams.Dynamic mindset and problem-solving approach.LanguagesFluency in English.Spanish (Preferred)Additional languages are an advantage.We could tell you about the perks…Permanent contractAttractive salary package in line with experience and professional valueContinuous training and access to development programsLanguage coursesSports events and initiatives for mental and emotional well-beingBut the best part is… to talk about it in person !
