Job Description
Production Engineer Responsibilities

Provide technical support to production areas, optimising processes to achieve OEE objectives and production KPIs
Analyse and improve production efficiency, implementing strategies to reduce waste and enhance performance
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production processes
Collaborate with quality control and product development teams to ensure products meet required standards and specifications
Troubleshoot equipment issues, implement preventive maintenance schedules, and liaise with suppliers to resolve technical problems
Monitor key production metrics, reporting findings to management and recommending innovative solutions
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, fostering a culture of efficiency and quality across the organisation

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design and Product Development Engineering, or a related field
Proficiency in MS Office suite and administrative tasks
Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in production engineering or a related field
Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
Familiarity with quality control processes and standards
Understanding of health and safety regulations in manufacturing environments
Experience with process analysis and optimization techniques
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications (CAD tools)
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in cross‑functional teams
Lean Manufacturing: Basic knowledge of Lean elements such as 5S, Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, Kanban, Point‑of‑Use
Pokayoke, Process Mapping, SMED, etc.
