Overview
As a Civil Engineer / Project Manager in our Valencia office, you lead marine infrastructure planning and design projects for public and private sectors. You will act as an Engagement Manager for port and terminal opportunities in the Spanish market, guiding design work, feasibility studies, and client coordination. You’ll mentor junior engineers while managing budgets, schedules, and stakeholder expectations. This role combines technical leadership with business development to advance coastal and maritime projects that shape resilient waterfronts.
ResponsabilidadesLead design and technical documentation for waterfront/marine civil site developmentPlan, schedule, and deliver projects within budget and timelinesMentor junior engineers to develop final design plansDetermine project costs (labour, materials, etc.) and prepare feasibility analysesConduct site visits and participate in client meetings
Requisitos principalesUniversity degree in transportation planning, civil, marine, or mechanical engineering15 years’ experience in similar engagementsMinimum 5 years of project management experience with budget, proposals, and client coordinationExperience in maritime development projectsStrong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)Entrepreneurial “can do” attitudeBackground check per NIST 800-171strong communicationclient-focusedmentoring mindsetmarine civil designfeasibility studiesdesign documentation and calculation reports
