Experteer Overview You will lead and direct complex projects within the IDG portfolio, ensuring high-quality outcomes and effective governance. You’ll work with senior sponsors and cross-functional teams, shaping project scope, procurement, and risk management. The role focuses on delivering transformative initiatives that support the EA’s 2030 action plan while maintaining health, safety, and financial controls. This is a hands-on leadership role in a collaborative, mission-driven environment. Compensaciones / Beneficios • Lead and oversee project teams including managers, specialists, and contractors • Develop project scope, governance, roles, responsibilities, and plans at initiation • Apply 5-case business model, project assurance and financial approvals • Maintain strong communication with Project Sponsor and senior stakeholders • Oversee stakeholder engagement plans and procurement strategies • Manage contract performance and supplier relationships • Foster a collaborative culture and ensure health, safety, and CDM compliance • Monitor project financial performance, in-year spends and forecasts • Support incident response training and duties as required • Ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes throughout project lifecycle Responsabilidades • Significant experience leading complex projects or programmes, preferably in engineering, construction, asset management or flood u0026 coastal risk management • Formal project management training with practical lifecycle application • Strong commercial acumen with extensive supplier contract management and procurement experience • Extensive project financial management and cost forecasting experience • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and building stakeholder engagement plans • Strong report writing skills and ability to develop business cases • Technical knowledge and leadership in risk management and safety compliance Requisitos principales • generous pension provision • flexible working patterns including job share • excellent training and learning opportunities • base location flexible with occasional co-location in offices • leave entitlement • supportive work environment
