Akens\ Nordburg is seeking for a German IT-solutions company highly skilled and experienced Python Develper (m/f) to enlarge the Spanish based Team. In this role, you will work on the development and maintenance of data-driven and event-based applications, contributing to robust backend solutions in a complex and dynamic environment. You will collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders, with a strong focus on quality, scalability, and reliability. Location: 100% remote from Spain RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and data pipelines using Python Build and maintain APIs and event-driven components using FastAPI and FastStream Work with SQL-based data solutions and cloud data platforms such as Snowflake Integrate systems using Kafka and other messaging technologies Collaborate within an agile software development lifecycle (SDLC) Ensure high code quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments Work closely with cross-functional teams in a fast-changing environment REQUIREMENTS: University degree in one of the following fields: science, mathematics, computer science, or engineering Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of SQL and Databricks Experience (3-5 years) working with Python with FastApi, FastStream, and computation libs Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes & Docker, Kafka, Git (usage, not building) Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies Knowledge of the energy trading sector and risk management Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work Excellent communication and interpersonal skills NICE-TO-HAVE REQUIREMENTS Experience working in data-intensive or real-time systems Familiarity with cloud-based architectures Experience collaborating with business stakeholders in regulated or complex domains BENEFITS: Opportunities to professional growth and development Long term labor contract Flexible work arrangements. 100% remote Dynamic and collaborative work environment
