QHSSE Manager – Spain (Madrid HQ)Aviation | Safety Leadership | International OperationsWe're working with a leading aviation organisation to appoint a QHSSE Manager to drive safety, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple stations in Spain.This is a senior leadership role with full ownership of Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environmental standards across a complex, multi-site operation.The OpportunityYou'll be responsible for shaping and embedding a best-in-class QHSSE culture, ensuring full compliance with aviation regulations, and driving continuous improvement across all operational sites.This is a high-impact, strategic role with strong visibility across leadership, customers, and regulatory bodies.What You'll Be DoingLeading QHSSE strategy across all Spanish operationsEnsuring compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, ISAGO, ICAO & IATA standardsDriving risk management, incident investigation & corrective actionsLeading internal & external audits and regulatory engagementDeveloping Business Continuity Plans & Emergency Response PlansDelivering training, awareness, and cultural change programmesActing as the Aviation Security lead (PNS compliance)Partnering with senior stakeholders across operations, airlines & authoritiesWhat We're Looking For10+ years' experience in QHSSE leadership within aviation / logistics / industrial environmentsStrong background in ground handling or air cargo operationsDeep knowledge of ISAGO, IGOM, ICAO & IATA frameworksProven ability to lead multi-site, international operationsStrong experience in auditing, compliance & continuous improvementRecognised Health & Safety certificationFluent in Spanish & EnglishComfortable with regular travel across SpainWhy Apply?Strategic leadership role with real influenceWork within a highly regulated, safety-critical aviation environmentOpportunity to drive cultural change and operational excellenceInternational exposure with senior stakeholder engagement
