Role overview You are a seasoned Quality Assurance Automation Engineer with an interest in the Cloud. You have designed and developed test strategies and test cases, and you can implement and maintain automated tests. You have experience across the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, designing CI/CD pipelines, integration testing, monitoring, and supporting production systems. Excellent English communication is required; knowledge of Spanish is not a business requirement. EU legal working status is required. How will you grow with us Onboarding timeline: First month: Scheduled meetings with stakeholders to understand company products and the projects you will work on. Begin participating in Scrum ceremonies and review QA processes and the stack of tools. Three months: Contribute to the existing test automation strategy and daily QA tasks. Propose new initiatives and testing strategies. Six months: Be a key team member, contribute to development phases, and create comprehensive test automation suites, frameworks, validation jobs, and reports daily. Responsibilities and qualifications Requirements: Strong experience in test automation frameworks. Experience in testing back-end interfaces. Experience of at least 3 years as a QA Engineer. Experience with the Cloud environment (AWS). Exposure to the full SDLC: requirements, test plans, integration testing, functional and regression testing, debugging, and production support. Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to set priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Python and knowledge of scripting languages. Database knowledge: SQL, NoSQL. Ability to perform root cause analysis when defects occur. BSc/BA in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience. Nice to have: Experience with document-oriented & search databases like Elasticsearch. Familiar with creating microservices in the cloud using platforms like AWS. Knowledge of CI/CD or orchestration tools. Understanding of performance testing and evaluation. Previous experience as a software developer or an architect.
