What is the job about?
The RAM (reliability, availability, maintainability) Engineer is a key role in electronic design engineering, responsible for performing RAM analysis on electronic devices developed by Clue.
Responsible for ensuring RAM objectives are met for Clue products: review designs from a RAM standpoint, carry out prediction analysis, recommend improvements in close cooperation with developers.
Participate in definition of RAM process and review deliverables by other team members.
What will you do?
Perform RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability) analysis on electronic equipment.
Reliability Modeling: Perform MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) prediction.
Perform FMEA/FMECA: Conduct detailed Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis, identifying how component-level faults impact High-Level Functions.
Testability analysis to evaluate how easily a system, software or circuit can be tested to detect and isolate faults.
Work hand in hand with designers and influence design to meet RAM requirements.
What profile are we looking for?
Mandatory:
Engineering degree level (or equivalent) in electronics.
Experience of 5+ years as RAM engineer with a focus on analog, power, and digital electronic design analysis.
Proficient in using software tools for MTBF prediction.
Proficient in statistics.
Proficient using Excel and Excel macro (VBA).
Knowledge about the following standards: FIDES, MIL-HDBK-217.
Fluent in written and oral English and Spanish.
Valuable:
Experience using BQR fiXtress: Component Derating and Realistic MTBF Prediction.
Experience in the aerospace or defense field.
Knowledge about the following standards: MIL-HDBK-781, MIL-HDBK-217F, MIL-HDBK-2165, MIL-STD-1629.
Knowledge of system design based on requirements.
Knowledge of aerospace standards.
