Position Overview We are looking for a Research & Training Engineer to join our Training Team. This position moves beyond traditional training roles; it focuses heavily on the research of new technologies and clients, and the generation and delivery of training content across various formats, including online courses, webinars, and onsite sessions.
We are seeking a curious individual with a strong desire to learn about what is being developed at OmniAccess (but also beyond). You should be capable of working and organizing yourself primarily independently (but also within a team), and develop a genuine interest in people and the value of work.
You will prioritize hands-on content, coordinating closely with the departments that support our onboard equipment, specifically TSC (Technical Support Center), Field Engineering, Service Delivery, and NaaS (Network as a Service).
Key Responsibilities Research, Content Generation & Delivery - Research and master new solutions developed by OmniAccess. Design and deliver technical training with a focus on practical application. Coordinate training talks with Sales and create client-facing content. Create and maintain network labs and training scenarios.
Technologies Involved - The role requires working with a diverse range of equipment and technologies, including but not limited to: connectivity, networking, infrastructure, cybersecurity. In the future, we might also explore other varied topics such as AI, bridge electronics, or vessel regulation.
MIN REQUIREMENTS Technical Knowledge: While network certifications (such as CCNA, Fortinet, or others) are highly valued, the ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate their knowledge during a technical interview.
Experience: Previous work facing the public or in a teaching environment is highly valued.
Language: Good command of English (written & verbal) is required.
Soft Skills: Communication skills, logical thinking , and proactivity.
Mobility: Availability to travel to training centers and client locations is required.
