Job DescriptionA vacancy for a Static Stress Specialist for Engineering in‑service solutions has arisen within Airbus Operations in Getafe. The 1SAT1 RFE Daily Repair Team provides 24/7 support to airlines requesting repair solutions not covered by the Structural Repair Manual (SRM). The role involves reactive, short‑term repairs, often completed within a few hours, and requires a proactive, customer‑orientated approach in a multicultural environment.Responsibilities- Perform Static Stress analysis for repairs according to validated methods.- Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capabilities guidelines.- Analyze damage reports to identify root causes and define repair solutions.- Interpret and apply NDT knowledge.- Interface with suppliers and customers and communicate repair requirements.- Provide certification documents for repair/acceptance of damaged structures.Qualifications- Education: Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or related discipline.- Experience: At least 5 years in Structural Analysis Engineering.- Soft Skills: High adaptability to new topics, business and networking; customer oriented.- Languages: Advanced level in English.- Technical Knowledge: Sound knowledge of static stress analysis of aerospace structures and tools (ISAMI, FEM, …).- Nice to have: Experience in structural design principles, tools and/or fatigue and damage tolerance skills.Benefits- Vacation days and additional days‑off (35 days off in total).- Attractive salary and compensation package.- Hybrid working model (up to 40% remote).- Collective transport service and health insurance.- Employee stock options and retirement plan.- On‑site facilities: free canteen, kindergarten, medical office.- Opportunities to collaborate in corporate social responsibility initiatives.- Upskilling opportunities and diverse career prospects.EmploymentEmployment Type: Permanent.
