Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our technology team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining advanced web services and applications using the Ruby on Rails framework. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality web services and applications that meet users’ needs while ensuring they are robust, scalable, and secure. Your expertise will directly contribute to the company’s success in the competitive digital identity market. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain Ruby web services and applications with a focus on the Ruby on Rails framework. Collaborate closely with mobile developers and QA engineers to ensure seamless integration and product quality. Work with RESTful APIs to connect applications with back-end services. Manage and maintain relational databases. Use Git for version control to track and manage code changes. Apply knowledge of SAML, PKI, and cryptography (Preferred). Implement DevOps practices to enhance workflow efficiency (Preferred). Create and maintain comprehensive development documentation. Conduct code reviews and apply testing best practices to ensure code quality. Optimize applications for security and scalability. Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies relevant to Ruby development. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Ruby (on Rails) developer. Proven experience working with RESTful APIs. Strong background in relational databases. Proficiency in Git version control. Knowledge of SAML, PKI, and cryptography (a plus). Familiarity with DevOps practices (a plus). Ability to create and maintain technical documentation. Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written. Excellent teamwork and stakeholder communication abilities.
