Job Summary
You will drive profitable growth for an assigned territory by influencing independent agents to sell Kemper Auto and support business initiatives for long‑term profitable growth. This remote position requires frequent travel within the Los Angeles region.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Influencing Agent Behavior
Implement and execute sales strategies to achieve financial and sales goals.
Collaborate with internal partners to achieve intended outcomes.
Utilize appropriate sales tools to influence behavior and drive results.
Agency Diagnostics and Cross‑Selling
Identify opportunities to cross‑sell Kemper Auto products and align agency needs with our offerings.
Agency Management and Support
Manage and develop a territory of independent agents.
Provide an outstanding experience for agents through consultative selling.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with agents at all levels within the agency.
Drive new business growth, balance of business mix, retention, and profitability within the assigned territory.
Stay current on product and pricing trends to achieve intended outcomes.
Collaboration and Mentoring
Actively participate in regional strategy meetings to develop and lead execution of business goals.
Assist in the implementation of new production launches.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Experience: 3–5 years of sales or insurance industry experience preferred; 5 years of professional and influential work experience required.

Compensation range: $77,100 to $128,500. Salary consideration includes experience, skills, education, certifications, and location. Eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and Kemper benefits (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401(k), etc.).
