Your ImpactAs the asset owner’s representative, you will lead the construction and execution of high-value BESS projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on spec, on time, and within budget. You will drive project teams, coordinate with EPC contractors, suppliers, grid operators, and local stakeholders, and ensure readiness for grid integration and commercial operation. What You’ll DoLead end-to-end execution of utility-scale BESS projectsProvide strategic direction to project teams and EPC partnersManage planning, risk, stakeholder engagement, HSE, QA/QC, and site supervisionOversee civil works, MV/HV electrical installation, power electronics integration, and commissioningResolve critical on-site issues and ensure regulatory/permitting complianceCollaborate with finance, legal, procurement, and commissioning teams for accurate cost control and project handoverProduce reporting and decision-support documentation for senior management Based in Madrid (preferred) with regular travel across Spain. xcskxlj What You Bring15+ years of experience, including 7+ years managing construction projects in renewable energy, industrial, or grid infrastructureExperience in BESS, HV grid connections, substations, power systems, or EPC frameworks preferredDegree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Energy, or related discipline)Expertise in contract management (FIDIC, EPC, or comparable) and handling claims, change orders, and performance guaranteesStrong leadership, communication, negotiation, and technical skillsFluent English; comfortable in an international environmentHigh willingness to travel across SpainThis is a high-impact role offering the opportunity to deliver critical energy infrastructure and directly support Europe’s energy transition.
