Senior Data Engineer (Scala / Spark) – AWS Migration | Start ASAPSignify Technology is partnering with a client on a large-scale GCP → AWS data migration We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer to help deliver the final phase of a business-critical data platform.Location: Fully Remote (EU timezones) US East Coast team – some overlap requiredContract:- Until the end of 2026 (likely extension)Rate: $500–$550 per dayInterview Process -2 stages (fast turnaround)What You'll DoDeliver the final 30% of a complex data migration (GCP → AWS)Work with and adapt an existing Scala-based Spark codebaseTranslate pipelines for AWS compatibility and performanceSupport Airflow (Python) orchestrationEnsure robust testing, validation, and monitoring across pipelinesTech StackScala, Apache Spark, Python (Airflow), SQL, GCP, AWS (Kubernetes), HiveWhat We're Looking ForStrong Scala + Spark experienceProven experience with data pipeline migrations (GCP/AWS)Solid understanding of testing, validation, and data qualityComfortable working with high-impact, business-critical datasetsif you are interested in this role, please apply or drop me a message at
