The Blue Pearl · Ibiza, Spain · Full-time, On-site Senior Designer — Second-in-Command Right hand to the Lead Designer on one of Ibiza's most ambitious residential developments. Bluepearl is seeking an experienced Senior Designer to work as the second-in-command alongside our Lead Designer, helping to drive the architectural and interior design vision of the project from concept through delivery. This is a senior role for a confident, organized professional who pairs strong creative instincts with command of today's digital and AI-driven workflows. About the role Reporting directly to the Lead Designer, you will be their right hand across the design process: helping set standards, coordinating consultants and contractors, running day-to-day delivery, and stepping in for the Lead when required. You will work closely with the development, construction and commercial teams on site in Ibiza, and act as a steady, trusted point of contact for the wider project team. The successful candidate will combine proven creativity with the leadership, organizational and presentation skills needed to support the Lead, drive the team forward and represent the project at a high level. You will also help guard Bluepearl's visual identity — reviewing social media output, presentation materials and every external touchpoint to ensure they stay on brand and on standard. Key responsibilities Act as second-in-command to the Lead Designer, stepping into their role when needed and representing the design team internally and externally. Support the Lead in mentoring and coordinating a multidisciplinary design team (architecture, interiors, technical) and run the team day-to-day. Help develop and maintain the project's BIM environment, ensuring model integrity, version control and clash-free coordination. Produce and review design documentation across all RIBA / Spanish project stages — concept, planning, technical, construction. Coordinate with external consultants (structural, MEP, landscape, lighting) and ensure deliverables align with project standards. Track design timelines, deliverables and quality control across the team, flagging risks early to the Lead. Apply AI tools to accelerate concept generation, visualisation, documentation and review workflows. Support presentations to stakeholders, investors and regulatory authorities in English and Spanish — clearly, persuasively and to a high visual standard. Help ensure full compliance with Spanish and EU building regulations, CTE and local Ibiza / Balearic planning requirements. Help safeguard Bluepearl's visual identity and house style — reviewing social media posts, presentations, brochures, renders, sales materials and website visuals for consistent quality and brand alignment. Liaise with marketing and external agencies on creative direction, photoshoots and renders, and help maintain the project's brand guidelines.
