Freelance Senior Frontend Engineer (3k€ monthly fee)⚠️ We’re not looking for agencies or studios — only independent professionals.Hulahoop is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (Freelance) to help us design, build and scale the next generation of our digital platforms.We’re an early-stage startup at the intersection of finance, culture and technology — building robust, scalable and efficient SaaS products that make cultural investment more accessible, transparent and impactful.You’ll work directly with the founding team, taking strong ownership over architecture, UI and product decisions.In the coming months, we expect to grow the tech team, so this role will play a key part in setting the foundations and guiding future development.Main Responsabilities:- Develop modular, maintainable and scalable frontend architectures using React, TypeScript, Next.Js and Tailwind.- Ensure clean, reusable and well-documented code aligned with Clean Architecture principles.- Collaborate closely with design, backend and product teams to bring polished, accessible, and performant interfaces to life.- Act as a guardian of product design and UI consistency, ensuring a refined user experience across products.- Build and maintain shared UI components, internal libraries and design systems.- Contribute to technical decisions on architecture, tooling, CI/CD, performance and scalability.- Help define frontend best practices and processes as the team grows.Requirements:- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.- Proven experience building robust, scalable and efficient SaaS platforms.- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript and modern frontend architecture.- Strong sense for UI/UX, with attention to detail, usability and visual coherence.- Solid knowledge of state management, performance optimization and testing best practices.- Experience with Next.Js, Tailwind, GitHub Actions, and Cloud environments (GCP preferred).- Excellent communication, autonomy and proactive mindset.- Fluent in Spanish and English.- Based or available within CET ±2h timezone.What we offer:- Freelance collaboration with a highly technical and product-driven founding team.- 3k€ monthly fee.- 100% remote work, flexible and async-first culture.- Opportunity to work in an early-stage startup, with real ownership and space to grow.- Direct impact on the product’s architecture, design system and frontend culture.- Possibility to help shape and lead the future frontend team as the company scales.- Culture built on trust, craft, and ambition to transform an industry.Industry: Software Development / FinTechEmployment Type: Contract (Freelance)
