Overview
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior/Staff UX Researcher in Spain. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and establish the UX research function within a fast-growing, AI-powered product organization operating across Europe and beyond. You will act as the first dedicated UX Researcher, playing a pivotal strategic role in defining how user understanding influences product decisions at scale. Working at the intersection of product, design, and engineering, you will turn complex user behavior into clear, actionable insights that guide product direction. The position combines hands-on research execution with the creation of scalable research systems, enabling teams to make faster and better-informed decisions. You will build the foundations of research operations, including participant systems, insights repositories, and research frameworks. This is a highly strategic and influential role where your work directly impacts product innovation and long-term product strategy. You will operate in a remote-first, highly collaborative environment that values autonomy, experimentation, and deep user understanding.
Accountabilities
Establish and scale the UX research practice, including tools, processes, and frameworks
Build research operations infrastructure such as participant recruitment systems and insights repositories
Design and maintain scalable ResearchOps systems including segmentation, databases, and consent workflows
Lead strategic research initiatives including personas, JTBD, and user segmentation studies
Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable product recommendations
Partner with product, design, and data teams to influence roadmap and prioritization decisions
Mentor and enable cross-functional teams to conduct high-quality user research
Evangelize user-centric thinking across the organization and embed research into decision-making
Requirements
5-7 years of experience in UX research, ideally in B2B or technical product environments
Strong mixed-methods research expertise including generative and evaluative studies
Proven experience building ResearchOps infrastructure (recruitment systems, participant panels, tooling)
Strong understanding of product strategy, OKRs, and prioritization frameworks
Experience working closely with product and engineering teams in fast-paced environments
Ability to translate complex research findings into clear, influential narratives
Experience mentoring teams and enabling others to conduct research effectively
Hands-on experience with AI tools and interest in their application in research workflows
Strong understanding of GDPR, privacy, and ethical research practices
Experience with remote or distributed research is a strong plus
Familiarity with PLG environments is an advantage
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in English
