Overview Cisco seeks a highly motivated, outcome-focused Solutions Engineer (SE) to join the Solutions Engineering team within the Networking Incubation Sales group. The SE will be responsible for technical closure of Cisco Spaces sales opportunities to meet or exceed quota, drive scalable initiatives and evangelism, and work with one or more Account Executives to plan sales strategies, drive proofs of value, build solution designs, deliver customer presentations, and close opportunities.
What You'll Do You will work within the global Networking Incubation organization as a Solutions Engineer and act as a subject matter expert on Cisco Spaces. You will be instrumental in driving the transformation of real estate for our customers across multiple segments and verticals. You will be the authority regarding the technical aspects of the covered solutions. Solutions Engineers must be comfortable building rapport with their client’s technical staff, with several Cisco sales teams, and serving as a trusted adviser within the accounts that they support. Your key responsibilities include demonstrations, articulating benefits and features to customers, and designing tailored architecture solutions that align with specific business needs and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical sales role.
Experience with Cisco or relevant key competitor location-based services and Wireless solutions.
Knowledge of Cisco's Solutions, networking fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications CMSS, CCNA, CCNP, CCDP, or similar vendor certification.
Knowledge of Cisco Meraki MV/MT or relevant key competitor physical security and IoT solutions.
Creativity, determination, and flexibility in driving demand and pipeline.
Experience with cross-architecture solutions including IoT, Collaboration, Networking, and Security/Observability (Splunk or relevant key competitor).
High proficiency in the English language. French or German are a plus.
