Role Details Role Reports To SEMQ Head EMEA Selfcare Location Europe/Middle East/Africa, Spain, Community of Madrid, Madrid Work Location Hybrid What You Will Do Kenvue is currently recruiting for a Supplier Quality Specialist . The Supplier Quality Manager plays a supportive and advisory role for the successful development, deployment, and implementation of the Supplier Quality Management (SQM) strategy and associated policies, procedures, programs and initiatives that deliver quality/compliance, cost, and/or operating benefit to the supply chain. Actively partners with stakeholders, individuals and teams, and external suppliers to support the implementation of innovative solutions and continuous improvements with demonstrated and measurable business results. Key Responsibilities Supporting overall supplier quality and service at required levels of expectation and assisting to drive efficiency and effectiveness solutions and outcomes for supplier-related systems, processes, procedures, and specifications. Assist Supplier Quality and Service by leveraging skills and expertise to enhance overall supplier quality and service levels, ensuring alignment with expectations. Serve as the primary contact for suppliers, fostering strong relationships to facilitate collaboration and communication. Act as the quality compliance owner for suppliers, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to Kenvue standards. Coordinate efforts to manage supplier relationships, aligning them with Kenvue’s business goals and objectives. Promote technical knowledge sharing among the broader team, including Procurement, R&D, and SMP, to enhance supplier performance. Support Supplier Quality Management (SQM) initiatives, acting as a liaison between regional and global teams. Support initial GMP audits at selected suppliers against the relevant guidelines (Eudralex, FDA 21CFR 210/211, ISO 13485, ISO 22716, ISO 9001, ISO 22000). Advise on action plans with new SQ and follow-up completion. Coordinate the introduction of new suppliers to Kenvue Quality Metrics and follow them up. Quality & Compliance And Business Support Support business continuity, cost improvement projects, supplier portfolio optimization and consolidation. Support Market Engagement initiatives, new supplier selection, to achieve supplier qualification. Involve in Global Quality & Compliance programs and transverse working groups. Support to Suppliers Quality in Management Review. Advise and coordinate on quality issues trending at assigned suppliers to drive improvement actions. Support to Supplier Quality Management quality system continuous improvement. Support supplier selection, supplier auditing, supplier performance monitoring, supplier risk mitigation. Foster quality ownership of the supplier contacts and relationship, offering guidance on the quality responsibility agreement between Kenvue and the supplier. Support the management of the assigned supplier's portfolio against an acceptable GMP status and risk-based approach. Facilitate the ownership of audit planning for the supplier, ensuring timely execution and CAPA follow-up. Facilitate New Supplier Qualifications and Change Control: by assisting in the selection, qualification, and disengagement processes for new suppliers to ensure smooth transitions. Provide guidance in managing supplier quality issues, such as micro failures and rejects, and support on-site investigations. Encourage a continuous improvement process for suppliers through the use of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and Management Action Plans. Required Qualifications What we are looking for Bachelor's Degree is required in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Science, or related disciplines Good knowledge of European legislation and guidance on Medicinal, Cosmetic, Medical Device, Nutritional products including GMPs and ICH guidelines (i.e. Eudralex, FDA 21CFR 210/211, ISO 13485, ISO 22716, ISO 9001, ISO 22000) At least 5 years' experience in a GMP and/or ISO regulated industry (manufacturing/QA/QC/Validation) Knowledge of pharmaceutical development, manufacturing, quality control and quality assurance principles Understanding of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical product registration Strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills Project management skills Fluent English Position includes up to 10% travels Desired Qualifications Experience in MD and/or Nutritional would be a benefit Auditing background is preferred Second European language is desirable What’s In It For You Competitive Total Rewards Package Learning & Development Opportunities Employee Resource Groups Canteen on site Kenvue is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
