About ANZEN Engineering: ANZEN Engineering is a leading engineering company specialized in supporting the development and certification of Safety- Critical & Mission-Critical systems. We are currently looking for experienced System Safety Engineers to join our international aerospace team across Europe and the United States. Responsibilities Perform and update system safety analyses for aircraft, systems, subsystems, and ground segments Conduct safety assessments such as FHA, PSSA, SSA, FTA, FMEA, and PRA following ARP4761 Identify hazards, assess risks, and support definition of risk mitigation measures Collaborate with design teams and system suppliers to ensure safety is integrated into system architectures Contribute to safety documentation, reports, and certification activities in compliance with standards such as ARP4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, and MIL-STD-882E Experience with autonomous systems or systems of systems will be considered a strong advantage. Requirements Minimum 3 years of experience in System Safety Engineering or a similar engineering role Master’s degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Physics, or related field Experience performing safety analyses for complex aerospace systems Strong understanding of aeronautical system operations and safety considerations Ability to work with project-specific methods and tools in international environments Professional proficiency in English (Spanish and/or German are a plus depending on location) What we offer Participation in leading international aerospace & defense programs.
