Radar Systems Engineer Madrid, Spain Full time, on site

Lockheed Martin España is seeking a hardware or systems engineer to lead technical oversight of Spanish content for a new radar signal processor. Provide technical oversight for supplier design efforts and integration of tactical equipment into the higher-level radar signal processor Perform requirement decomposition to develop product performance specifications, statements of work, and supplier data requirements for radar system suppliers Participate in and coordinate design reviews and technical product reviews of supplier designs Support technical suppliers, conduct supplier visits, and validate supplier technical products Function as an interface between program and radar system leadership, and supplier development efforts Establish verification plans and test procedures showing traceability to system and subsystems specifications Provide oversight of component verification and qualification test activities, developing final verification artifacts Support subsystem integration and test, driving any Spanish supplier issues to resolution Identify opportunities and support production activities within Spain.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master’s degree Functional knowledge of radar systems Experience with hardware development at the component, subsystem, or system level Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: system analysis, requirements development, hardware design, verification/qualification, or integration and test Past strong technical performance as an individual contributor, and ability to perform in a small team environment Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance at the SECRET level. Advanced degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent Strong technical background with experience in hardware development, test, and integration Experience with requirement definition, documentation and verification Experience with design validation and/or qualification testing Familiarity/proficiency in supply chain management and subcontracts Experience writing test procedures, reports, and delivering test results to the customer in a professional manner Excellent verbal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with members of the engineering/management staff and customer community.
