The role :GTD Defense & Security Solutions designs, develops, and integrates systems and products to secure and protect people, critical infrastructures, and territories. We create systems that support all kinds of peacekeeping and search & rescue operations, from HQ to personnel on the ground, including training and simulation tools. We are looking for a Systems Integration Trainee to join GTD Defense & Security Solutions, the company of GTD Group specialized in the design and development of large, complex and/or safety-critical applications. The position will be based in Cadiz, San Fernando. Here you will find more information about us: Position activities: As part of the Systems Integration team of GTD, the person elected will support the design, integration and testing of a Console and Interface Unit (based in COTS) in the following functions: Assist in market surveys to identify the best hardware solutions. Support hardware architecture definition (HSR) and mechanical/electrical design tasks. Help develop installation and integration guidelines. Contribute to test and validation plans, ensuring systems meet requirements. Support the preparation of technical manuals. Learn about maintenance planning and lifecycle management. Your profile: University, Engineer’s, or Master’s degree student in Industrial, Electronic Engineering, or IT. Curious and motivated to learn about mechanical and electrical design of consoles and electronic cabinets. Familiar with CAD tools for 2D/3D layouts and electrical schematics. Interested in ergonomics, usability, and system optimization. Ready to learn about hardware evaluation, regulatory compliance, and environmental standards. Good English skills (B1). Nice to have: Experience with CAD or simulation tools (academic projects count!). Interest in maritime, defense, or industrial applications. Basic knowledge of project documentation and engineering standards. Curiosity for emerging technologies and hardware solutions.
