Experteer Overview
Lead the Wallet engineering team to design, build and evolve Betsson's core platform that securely handles player balances and real-time financial transactions. You will blend technical leadership with people leadership, shaping architecture and delivery across cross-functional squads in Málaga. You’ll work on a high-availability system with strict correctness and auditability, contributing to scalable, cost-efficient cloud operations. This role offers hands-on impact in a growth-focused tech hub within Betsson’s global tech organization.

• Mentor and grow a team of engineers; participate in recruiting, onboarding, and performance reviews
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, DBAs, and DevOps to meet business and regulatory needs
• Design and develop scalable, reliable backend systems with an emphasis on maintainability
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technology evolution of the Wallet platform
• Coordinate with DBAs and DevOps to ensure performance and operational stability
• Drive improvements in system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency

• Support adoption of AI-assisted development tools and workflows to boost productivity and quality
Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of software development experience
• Experience leading or mentoring software engineering teams
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Experience in Agile environments
• Excellent knowledge of C# and .NET
• Experience designing scalable backend systems
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and data consistency
• Solid understanding of relational databases, transaction processing, and query performance
• Nice to have: high-throughput transactional systems, cloud-native architectures, financial/payments/high-reliability platforms
• Interest in modern developer tooling including AI-assisted development
