At ioBuilders , we are looking for a visionary Technical Lead with deep expertise in Artificial Intelligence to spearhead our AI initiatives within the Financial and Legaltech sectors. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between cutting-edge AI research and production-ready solutions that transform how institutions handle complex financial data and legal frameworks. You won't just be managing a team; you will be the architectural North Star for our AI roadmap, ensuring our solutions are scalable, secure, and ethically sound. Key responsibilities Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing team of AI engineers and developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning. Architecture & Design: Design and oversee the implementation of robust AI architectures, specifically focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and predictive analytics for financial/legal use cases. Product Strategy: Collaborate with stakeholders to define the AI product roadmap, identifying opportunities where AI can disrupt traditional financial and legal processes. Hands-on Development: Maintain a\ "player-coach\" mentality, contributing to the codebase for critical components and conducting rigorous code reviews. Security & Compliance: Ensure all AI solutions adhere to the strict regulatory standards of the financial and legal industries (e.G., GDPR, EU AI Act, financial data privacy). Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI trends (Agentic workflows, RAG, Fine-tuning) to keep ioBuilders at the cutting edge of the industry. Technial Requirements Experience: 7+ years in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership/management role and a strong track record in AI-driven projects. AI Mastery: Extensive experience with Python and AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX . Modern AI Stack: Proven expertise in implementing RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) , fine-tuning LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama), and working with vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus, or Weaviate). Cloud & DevOps: Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and MLOps tools for deploying and monitoring models in production. Fintech/Legaltech Context: Familiarity with financial datasets, smart contracts, or automated document analysis is highly preferred. Soft Skills Problem Solver: Ability to navigate the ambiguity of emerging technologies and turn them into concrete business value. Communicator: Capable of explaining complex technical AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients.
