We have an exciting opportunity for a Underwriter Liability to generate and underwrite new business for the Markel team, based in our Barcelona office. Extending and consolidating our footprint as a recognized insurance partner by assessing, proposing, and negotiating insurance conditions for large and midsize projects, with a primary focus on Liability Working closely with the General Manager of the Barcelona office and the Liability department, to ensure development and profitability of the portfolio Championing continuous improvements and continually working with the team to improve end to end process and data accuracy Validated experience in an Underwriting function and an understanding of the regional insurance market Effective interpersonal skills as you collaborate with local and partners. Strong partnership skills for developing strategic planning to achieve team and company ambitions.
