Job Description
Hello! I am going out to celebrate a friend’s birthday this night and looking for someone who can spend time with the boys and be with them while they are asleep.
Pay: $18 - $32 per hour
Start Date: Mid-Week
Location: Oviedo, FL
I will prep a dinner for them in the fridge on plates that will need to be cooked and they are able to pick out their own drinks for dinner. They can eat dinner anytime after you arrive from 5:30-6:30 pm (depending when they are hungry). After dinner, Forest is limited on drinks due to accidents in bed. If he says he is thirsty, we allow him sips of water so that he isn’t thirsty, but so that he doesn’t have accidents.
The boys can have a snack before they get ready for bed, we have a lot of options like fruit or a whole variety of snacks in the pantry.
I will try to have them bathed before you come, however, if unable to, I would like someone who is comfortable with assisting with bath time and watching to make sure they are safe. Theo does not wash himself well still during bath and needs help with getting his hair and body wet/cleaned and for someone to give him instructions on how to scrub himself all over with the soap and wash cloth. Forest also needs the same assistance in the bath but does have a little easier time with cleaning himself than Theo. Both kids have a big fear of water in their eyes and like assistance with a towel due to this.
At bedtime, both kids need help with brushing their teeth and given direction on how to properly brush/length of time needing to brush their teeth. At bedtime, Theo needs an opened water bottle or can fill up a stainless steel cup of water for him to take to bed as he doesnt have accidents and Forest needs to be reminded to use the bathroom immediately before bedtime. Forest also likes to be tucked in at bedtime and they both like having a story read to them.
On weekends, they are allowed to stay up until 9-9:30 pm. After they go to bed, you are welcome to use any streaming service I have to watch something or I can give you my wifi password so that you can be comfortable. You are welcome to any food or drinks in my fridge or pantry as well.
They love playing on the switch, their tablets, and having someone to play with them and their toys. We would love for tablet/tv time to be reduced by having someone play with them with their toys or even to just talk to them. They get super excited when we have a sitter and they talk to them or listen to them about their stories/games!
