ph3Rainbow Trust /h3 pLocation: All areas | Closing date: 10 July 2027 /p h3Overview /h3 pThe role is flexible and, depending on your experience and interests, may include /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liContacting local businesses and attractions willing to donate their products, time or tickets for families supported by Rainbow Trust /li liNetworking with other local charities, trusts and foundations to source support and donations /li liRaising awareness of Rainbow Trust by networking with local organisations including schools, faith groups and community organisations /li liAssisting with the organisation of family events and days out especially during the school holidays /li liSupporting small‑scale local fundraising initiatives (for example, delivering and collecting charity collection tins) /li liRepresenting Rainbow Trust at local events, fetes and fairs to raise awareness of our work – this might also include speaking about our work or collecting cheques/donations /li liAssisting the HR and Volunteering Team with local staff and volunteer recruitment /li /ul h3What We’re Looking For /h3 ul liA confident and professional communicator /li liHappy to work alongside staff as part of a team as well as independently /li liOutgoing and able to use initiative to grow opportunities for the team /li liGood IT skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite /li liAn understanding of the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality /li /ul h3Your Commitment /h3 ul liA minimum commitment of 4 hours per week for 12 months /li liThe role is flexible, and volunteers may choose hours that fit their other commitments /li liVolunteers may perform some duties remotely but are encouraged to attend meetings or events in person and online where appropriate /li /ul h3Training and Support /h3 ul liRainbow Trust staff members in the local Care team and Head Office will provide ongoing supervision and support /li liA network of Volunteer Community Champions in other regions will meet regularly online to share ideas.
