At PayFit we understand that you can gain applicable skills through a variety of life experiences and we are interested in knowing them, too.**About the role**:- As a VP of Data, you will be responsible for driving data initiatives that improve the customer experience, drive product innovation, and contribute to decision making and business growth.Reporting directly to Sylvain, CPO, you will:- Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and objectives.- Manage and level up a team of roughly 20ppl, composed of Data Product Analysts, BI Analysts, Analytics Engineers and Data Engineers to execute the roadmap and meet the company's goals.- Drive the development and implementation of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-driven initiatives that will drive business growth, improve customer experience, and enhance product innovation.- Oversee the design and maintenance of data infrastructure and systems, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data visualization tools.- Ensure that data architecture and systems are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, including product management, engineering, business operations, finance and customer success, to ensure alignment and buy-in for data initiatives.- Define and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of data initiatives and ensure continuous improvement.- Manage data-related risks and ensure compliance with all relevant data privacy and protection regulations.- Provide thought leadership on data strategy, technology trends, and emerging data-related opportunities and risks.- Communicate data insights and recommendations to executive leadership and other stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.**This role is for you if**:- You are an experienced leader (10+ years of experience) in data management, data analytics, and/or data engineering including several years leading multiple teams and managing managers.- You have strong management skills and are an inspiring leader, passionate about developing high-performing teams and excellent at pushing team collaboration to break down silos.- You have a proven track record to develop and execute successful data strategies for a SaaS business (B2B) model that have driven business growth, improved customer experience, and enhanced product innovation.- You have technical expertise in topics such as data warehousing, data engineering, and other data-related technologies.- You have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead a high-performing team of data.- You have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including executive teams and business partners.- You have strong knowledge of data privacy and protection regulations (GDPR).- You speak English fluently and you want to work in an international and dynamic environment**It would be great if also**:- You are a real team player who want to build a big success story with us- You have a strong interpersonal and communication skills- You want to learn, improve and gain responsibilityIf you think you would be a good fit even if you don't meet 100% of the requirements, we would love to hear from you!**Your future team**:.- Together with your team mem
