Workday Project Manager
We are partnering with a leading global organisation to appoint a Senior Workday Project Manager to lead a critical Workday HCM Greenfield deployment.
Sitting within the Digital Organisation and working in close collaboration with People & Culture (P&C) and People Services (PPLS), this role will be the driving force behind the end-to-end implementation of Workday HCM and Talent Management.
This is a hybrid leadership role requiring both exceptional programme delivery capability and deep functional Workday expertise. You will bridge project execution and HR strategy, ensuring the platform is configured and delivered to maximise People objectives.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Project Leadership
Lead the full Workday HCM Greenfield deployment lifecycle - from planning and design through testing, go-live, and post-implementation support
Apply standard Workday deployment methodologies within a hybrid project environment
Drive on-time, on-budget delivery across complex, cross-functional teams
Functional Leadership
Act as the functional expert for Workday HCM and Talent Management
Guide HR process design and system configuration decisions using best practice principles
Ensure the platform supports long-term workforce and talent strategies
Stakeholder & Business Alignment
Partner closely with P&C and PPLS leadership to align system configuration with strategic business needs
Translate technical design decisions into clear business impact
Risk, Scope & Vendor Management
Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and scope changes
Develop mitigation strategies to protect delivery timelines
Coordinate closely with external implementation partners to ensure milestone accountability
Change & Adoption
Support change management efforts to drive user readiness and adoption
Ensure smooth transition into business-as-usual operations
Required Experience
Senior-level experience leading complex Workday deployments with a proven track record of successful delivery
Mandatory hands‑on deployment experience with Workday HCM and Workday Talent Management
Strong command of hybrid project methodologies and Workday implementation standards
Experience managing cross-functional teams within global environments
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Fluent or native English speaker
