**DataOps Engineer / Barcelona 2 days a month onsite / 3-6 months / Start ASAP**We are currently looking for a DataOps Engineer to work on our Analytics team, where we'reoffering analytics services like Databricks at scale. Our infrastructure is completely cloud-based on AWS, and we take very seriously concepts like infrastructure as code and automation development processes using CI/CD.You will be interacting with Data Engineers from different teams in order to integrate different technologies and services that will be used by Data Analysts around the world. The set of tools to deliver includes everything from consolidated datasets creation to notebook solutions and tools to access data using SQL. If you're excited about building tools that will help Analysts inform their decision making and work more efficiently, this is a position for you!**What you will do**:- Create, maintain, and evolve the infrastructure and services for Data Analysts and Data Engineers- Offer services like Databricks at a global scale- Work with Data Analysts to understand their needs and provide solutions to solve them- Ensure security and governance of the data in our Redshift clusters- Monitor and automate the operations and production of large-scale distributed systems**Qualifications****Who you are**:- A BSc degree in Computer Science or a similar technical degree or equivalent job experience- Strong analytical / problem solving skills- Good experience with AWS (e.G: IAM, Glue, VPC configuration, etc.)- Recent experience with provisioning tools like Terraform- Experience in production services in a cloud environment- Experience with development life cycle using Git, PR reviews, automated CI systems, and Continuous Delivery**Nice to have**:- Experience with Terragrunt- Experience with Docker- Knowledge of data processing and storage tools (e.G: Spark, S3, Glue, Hive, Redshift, etc.)
